Member Exclusive: Salem Celebrates the Fourth

Make The Gables your Fourth of July destination for breathtaking views and merriment. Please feel free to bring your own picnic, blanket, and lawn chairs for a front-row seat to the City of Salem’s extraordinary fireworks display over the harbor. A cash bar will be available from 5:00 PM – 9:15 PM. (Sorry, due to city ordinances no BYOB and no glass containers.)

As in years past, Nathaniel Hawthorne will be strolling around the seaside lawn and serving cake in honor of his birthday. This is an invitation-only event. Please bring your invitation or membership card.
Note: After Derby Street closes, you can take Essex Street to Turner Street. Seating and parking are limited.
