The Gables will be closed January 1 through February 14, 2025 for annual maintenance. We will reopen on February 15, 2025.

Purchase a Brick

Honor or remember the special people and events in your life with a custom-engraved brick along the walkway at The House of the Seven Gables. Funds raised will help maintain an oasis of welcome to the community as they walk onto the campus from Derby Street.

Hardscaping construction of the new Derby Street entrance was completed in January 2025. Plantings will go in Spring 2025.

This is a great way to make a tax-deductible donation to the Museum AND preserve your own legacy as a museum
supporter for years to come.

 

Bricks can be purchased either through our secure online portal or by mailing a form.

If you have purchased more than one brick, we will attempt to make sure they are placed close to each other.  All inscriptions will be centered on the bricks.

Bricks are installed once a year in May. Bricks must be ordered before April 1st of each year to be included in the current year’s installation. Brick orders received after July 15, 2024 will be installed in 2025.
