The property is not only historical but absolutely stunning with its seaside views, lush garden, and beautiful architecture. It’s truly one of a kind. They also have the most amazing staff! I am so thankful for Deb and all she did to make our day stress free. She is AMAZING! She was always an email away to help with any questions/concerns and made the big day a breeze. “After getting engaged at Salem Willows on Halloween of 2020, my wife and I knew we had to return to the Witch City the following Halloween for our wedding. What more scenic, iconic, and historical Salem sight than the House of Seven Gables? Our garden ceremony was perfect. We were very nervous about inclement weather, but Deb had a backup plan to move the ceremony indoors if necessary. Having that reassurance alleviated so much stress and allowed us to fully enjoy our day. Thankfully, the weather turned out to be 70’s and sunny. That combined with the beautiful venue made for stunning wedding photos that we will cherish forever. It turned out to be the best day of our lives and everything we had hoped for!”

“I would like to thank Deb Costa [Event Manager at The House of the Seven Gables] for her support and communication in creating a beautiful rehearsal dinner at the 7 Gables for my son and bride-to-be.  She quickly answered all my emails (felt like I sent many!) and was always available for face-to-face meetings.  In addition, I truly appreciated the support she gave on the day of the event. It was comforting to know that someone was working with the cater, event.com, etc for deliveries and setup.

Many of the guests were not familiar with the Gables or the grounds – many were from out of state. They loved the gardens, the water, and the overall comfort of the environment… one guest commented, “it is the best wedding rehearsal I have ever been to”! “Our wedding at the House of the Seven Gables was spectacular. Deb was very kind and took her time speaking with us, meeting with us beforehand for a tour, accommodating our wedding party, and efficiently facilitating during and after the ceremony. She even picked up our flowers from Dave Eng herself! It was beautiful getting married in front of the water. We had a lovely time taking photos in the garden, historical houses, and in front of the harbor. Also knowing that our money was going to a great cause was a huge bonus. Surrounded by beauty and history, the House of the Seven Gables is a beautiful landmark and venue.”
