Looking for a creative outlet for your family during these trying times? The House of the Seven Gables and Salem Arts Association is hosting a Gables-themed family art contest. Paint, draw, photograph, sculpt – whatever moves you! We can’t wait to see how The Gables inspires YOU!
Judges from the Salem Arts Association will pick the winners in the following age groups:
- 7 and under
- 8 -10
- 11 – 13
- 14 – 18
Winners will receive a family pack of passes to The House of the Seven Gables AND their work will be displayed at the annual En Plein Air show hosted by the Salem Arts Association (date TBD).
Work can be submitted in two ways:
- Digital or scanned projects can be emailed to jarrison@7gables.org
- Projects can be dropped off in-person at 115 Derby Street Monday – Friday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Please call or text 413-530-0831 when you drop off so we can gather up your project.
Projects are due by 10:00 a.m. on April 24. Judging will take place as soon as it is safe for the Salem Arts Association judges to gather.
As we receive projects, we’ll post them up on our joint social media to help brighten up our community with your work!
