A collage of images for the New Immigrant and Refugee Visions Film and Conversation Series

Date: October 7, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Cost: Free

Join us for three unique films made by immigrants, about immigrants in partnership with Community Supported Films.

New Immigrant and Refugee Visions is a collection of documentary films by and about new immigrants and refugees. The stories produced provide a unique insider perspective on the integration challenges faced by immigrants and the contributions they make to our culture, economy,  and social fabric. Our three selected films from the series are:

  • She’s an American Child
  • Rhythms of Respect
  • Seeking Settled Groud

Each film is ten minutes long and there will be a community discussion after the screenings. Participants will be given a set of questions to spark discussion on the night of the event.

This is an online event. Registration and participant questions will be sent via a confirmation email.

Registration is free. Donations will be gratefully accepted to help cover the costs of this event.
