We can’t wait to welcome you to The House of the Seven Gables this fall. Tickets for October 2025 are now available to the general public. Here is everything you need to know before purchasing.
TICKET OPTIONS
The Mansion Tour Package includes a 45-minute tour of the famed mansion and everything in the Grounds Pass.
The Grounds Pass includes access to the Nathaniel Hawthorne Birthplace, Counting House, and Museum Store, as well as an audio tour of the historic grounds.

More Weight: A Graphic Novel Release
October 4 at 6:30 P.M.
Join us as we welcome illustrator and writer Ben Wickey! In his new graphic novel, Wickey wrestles with the complex legacy of “the Witch City” and what it shows us about the best and worst of humanity.
The Shadows of the Seven Gables
October 7-29, 2025
GHOSTS, CURSES, AND MURDER! Embrace the spookier side of The House of the Seven Gables with an after-hours candlelit journey through the mansion.
Haunted Fables at The Gables
October 9-26, 2025
Join Salem’s master storyteller, Nathaniel Hawthorne, for a frightful evening of thrills and chills! The famous author performs his most frightening tales, as well as the terrifying works of fellow writer, Edgar Allan Poe.
Hawthorne’s Halloween Bash
October 18 at 6:30 P.M.
This October, Nathaniel Hawthorne invites you to his Halloween Bash; an exclusive costume party to celebrate the spooky season. Dress up in your Halloween best as you wander the gardens of The House of the Seven Gables.

Advanced tickets are REQUIRED. Due to the high volume of visitors, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
September Tickets – If you’re looking to beat the October crowd, tickets for September 2025 are already available! Visit 7Gables.org/tickets to purchase
Food Trucks – The Lobster Roller food truck will be in our parking lot every Saturday and Sunday in October! Please note that food is not allowed inside the Turner-Ingersoll Mansion, but may be eaten in the garden with admission to the site.
Weather – Be sure to pack and dress for the elements. New England weather is unpredictable!
Parking – Parking is extremely scarce during October in Salem. Though The Gables has a parking lot, parking is not guaranteed and all cars must be removed 2 hours after your tour start time. PLEASE PLAN EXTRA TIME FOR TRAVEL. Advanced planning, early arrival in public lots, and using public transportation is highly recommended. If you are late for your tour, you will not be able to join your group. Tickets cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
