Join The House of the Seven Gables, Salem Historical Society, and St. Peter's-San Pedro Church for an afternoon book talk with local author, Benjamin Shallop, featuring his most recent publication, The Founding of Salem, City of Peace.

Join us at The House of the Seven Gables Visitor Center for an afternoon of dancing and socializing. Sharon German of Divinity Dance will lead a 45-minute lesson of salsa and bachata, followed by dancing. This event is free as part of Trails and Sails, but registration is required.

The House of the Seven Gables is welcoming our neighbors to visit for free this April school vacation with Essex County Days!

Join us for an evening of reflection, history, and community. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program beginning at 6:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy a seasonal, sustainable fall menu inspired by Indigenous foodways, and will have the opportunity to purchase books related to the evening’s topics.
