April showers bring May flowers! Gables members, enjoy a lovely spring day at The House of the Seven Gables. All day, members will receive 25% off all items at the Museum Store.

If you’re from the North Shore, you’ve grown up passing this house and always wondered what it was like up close. Now is your chance! Join your fellow Gables members for a tour of Historic Beverly’s Balch House. One of the oldest wood-frame houses in the country, the Balch House is evocative of early colonial life.

With the best view of the fireworks in town, The House of the Seven Gables is the ideal spot for July 4th. Members are invited to bring a blanket and chairs, and relax on the seaside lawn.

We're pretty sure we're correct in saying that this has never been done before! Reading the first chapter of Nathaniel Hawthorne's The House of the Seven Gables in the said mansion's parlor!

Gables members have the opportunity to be the first to tour Nathaniel Hawthorne's Birthplace with Executive Director, Dakota Russell, and Collections Manager, Susan Baker, and learn of the plans to reimagine the house as The Hawthorne Museum.
