The Gables says, “Aloha Hōkūle’a”

The Hōkūle’a will be docking at the Salem Maritime National Historic Site on Thursday, July 14. The vessel is expected to dock between 10:00-11:30 a.m.
On Friday, the crew will be welcomed to The House of the Seven Gables for a tour of the Turner-Ingersoll mansion and museum campus. On display will be two unique panels that connect the Retire Becket House to King Kamehameha II of Hawaii.
On Friday and Saturday, we’ll be recruiting crews for a voyage of discovery with our Family Navigation Game. Are you a seeker of knowledge? Do you long for adventure? The House of the Seven Gables invites families to explore our grounds as part of a family navigation experience, with map and compass in hand.
All events are free for members and Salem residents and included with paid admission for general visitors.
