During Salem Heritage Days, we are offering various programs which highlight the museum’s connections to our city’s maritime history.

The Family Navigation Game

Families are invited to explore our grounds with map and compass in hand. They will ‘sail’ between different ‘ports’, learning interesting facts along the way.

When:  Daily August 1 – 11 from 10:00-6:00

 

Living History Lab:  Navigation Skills

Do you know how ships found their way before GPS?  Come get your hands on some simple navigation activities and find out!

When:  August 2, 3, 4, 9, 10 & 11 from 11:00-3:00

Join us for a presentation of the 2018 ‘The House of the Seven Gables’ with filmmaker Ben Wickey.
When: August 1 6:30 – 8:30

Salem Maritime Festival

Try your skill with a quill at the Salem Maritime National Historic Site festival.

When: August 3 & 4 from 10:00 – 4:00

Caribbean Connections Celebration

Come celebrate with the dynamic students from our summer enrichment program as they re-tell their summer adventures and learning.
