It Starts With Me Thanksgiving Drive Collection

Each year the Salem-based charity It Starts With Me organizes a Thanksgiving Drive to help provide holiday meals to families and veterans in need on the North Shore as well as provide fresh produce and boxes of food to local shelters. The meal kits include everything a family needs to prepare a meal together from roasting tins to butter.
The House of the Seven Gables is proud to be a collection site for the 10th annual event and to support a goal of offering dinner to more than 350 families in 2017. Non-perishable items that can be dropped off at The Gables between November 1 – November 17 include:
- Market Basket gift cards
- gravy
- tin turkey pans
- stuffing
- canned veggies
- juice
- cranberry sauce
- and cooking oil.
The House of the Seven Gables is open daily from 10:00 – 5:00 during the drive.
