Want to know what it was like to be a guest at The House of the Seven Gables during Hawthorne’s time? Walk down Turner Street, and enter the mansion through the front door. Wonderful surprises await, as you are led by historians and staff members, Everett Philbrook and David Moffat, on a tour of the life of Nathaniel Hawthorne and his novel, The House of the Seven Gables. This tour is free for Gables members only and is a part of Member Appreciation Week.
