An old Salem mansion that is haunted by a family curse, mysterious deaths, and ghosts of its past.
As Hawthorne wrote, “Shall we never get rid of this past, it lies upon the present like a giants dead body. Just think for a moment and it will startle you, what slaves we are to bygone times, whatever we seek to do, a dead man’s icy hand obstructs us.”
