- This event has passed.
Date: June 2, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Celebrate 350 years of stories during 17th Century Saturdays at The House of the Seven Gables.
Activities include guided tours of the 1668 Turner-Ingersoll Mansion, Living History Labs in the 1682 Hooper-Hathaway House, and unique shopping in the Museum Store, located in the c.1655 Retire Beckett House. Take in the architecture, seaside views, and the annual exhibit about how we know what we know about The Gables.
On June 2, The Gables will be offering free garden passes as part of a region-wide open house. The garden pass allows visitors to explore the seaside gardens, learn about the National Historic Landmark District with the UniGuide app, and participate in a Living History Lab at the 1682 Hooper-Hathaway House. Stop by the historical carpentry demonstration with Mike Welch. Guided tours of The Gables are available with regular admission. Please visit www.7Gables.org for rates and hours.
