These tickets were for entry to a performance of Henry O. Upton’s dance and music students. The event was held at Mechanic Hall, a well-known function space that stood at 283-287 Essex Street and was used by the Upton family for many of their commerical offerings. Mechanic’s Hall was demolished in 1905.
