These two photographs were taken on the same day on the south lawn of the Turner-Ingersoll Mansion, c.1901, and show Helen and Lillian Arey and their friends Mary Johnson and Annie Paine.  Helen and Lily were the granddaughters of the home’s owners – Henry and Elizabeth Cate Upton.
