Description
Frank Cousins was a famous Salem photographer known for capturing both the streets and interiors of late 1800s and early 1900s Salem. Cousins owned a studio in Salem and took great interest in the city’s historical architecture, including the Turner-Ingersoll Mansion.
These white bone china plates were made for him in Austria. They represent a small portion of our souvenir plate collection. Note the folded corner design and the image of the Turner-Ingersoll Mansion prior to restoration on the first plate.
