Join Salem’s master storyteller, Nathaniel Hawthorne, for a frightful evening of thrills and chills in the gloomy shadow of The Gables!
Tales of the Macabre

A one-woman show performed by The Petticoat Pages. From Poe to Irving with a dash of Dickens, Jennifer whips up a maudlin Victorian performance.
Daemonologie: Sinew and Soul
October 23 – November 3, 2023
An interactive theater experience by Intramersive! It is 1794 and Americans lust after the bounties of their newfound freedom. Harvard Medical students, eager to get ahead of their soft European counterparts, will do anything to succeed. Chief among them is Jon, driven to cure his dying sister.

ADDITIONAL TIPS
Advanced tickets are REQUIRED. Due to the high volume of visitors, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Food Trucks – We are very excited to announce that we will have the Lobster Roller food truck in our parking lot every Saturday and Sunday in October from 11 A.M. – 6 P.M.! Please note that food is not allowed inside the Turner-Ingersoll Mansion, but may be eaten in the garden.
Weather – Be sure to pack and dress for the elements. New England weather is unpredictable!
Parking – Parking is extremely scarce and nearly impossible to find during October in Salem. Though The Gables has a parking lot, parking is not guaranteed. PLEASE PLAN EXTRA TIME FOR TRAVEL. Advanced planning, early arrival in public lots, and using public transportation is highly recommended. If you are late for your tour, you will not be able to join your group.
