We are slowly but surely building up our ranks here at The House of the Seven Gables and have just added advance purchase guided tours for June 18 -29.

In June, The House of the Seven Gables is open Friday – Tuesday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. We are in the process of hiring additional historical interpreters to help with giving guided tours and creating a welcoming and engaging experience for visitors. Like so many businesses, The Gables has been searching for staff for weeks with few qualified applicants. We are excited to welcome the staff that we have hired and get them trained and ready to welcome YOU!

On June 18, our semi-private guided tour capacity will increase to six visitors. Since opening in April, we have been able to welcome four visitors on tour and look forward to a slow and steady increase this season. Because our frontline staff is still going through the vaccination process, we are keeping capacity low and requiring face masks inside all of our buildings until further notice.

If you’re not ready to come inside quite yet, our Gardens and Grounds Experience is an amazing way to soak in our historic site. You’ll receive access to a 30-minute narrated tour of the exteriors as well as a chance to relax and stroll on our acre of beauty by the harbor.
