In this last week of February, we just wanted to share some snowy pictures of winters past…this one certainly has not been a doozy for Salem! If you’re familiar with that saying, “in like a lion, out like a lamb,” then you know we have a month of unpredictable New England weather on the horizon.
If our friends from New Hampshire want to escape their snow, a staycation day or overnight in Salem is perfect! Visit us for a tour at The Gables, take in some 1692 at the Salem Witch Museum, learn about life on the high seas at Salem Maritime and so much more. Visit Destination Salem to plan your family adventure.
Speaking of adventure – are you embarking on the journey of marriage? We have a few summer dates left if you want to get that day on the books and plenty to choose from in 2021.
With March coming in, don’t forget we have some great events. In the Enterprising Women series, you can learn about the life and times of Lydia Pinkham on March 11. On March 25, the New Immigrant and Refugee Voices series kicks off. All of the details are on our event calendar.
Last but not least, we’re looking forward to welcoming our neighbors from Danvers for free tours on March 1. Our Welcome Home Days are the ideal way for neighboring communities to check out all we have to offer.
