2019 might be winding down for many of you, but our work is in full swing at The House of the Seven Gables. On Tuesday night, join us as we toast our hard-working and dedicated ESL and Citizenship Students at a diverse holiday celebration. We’re asking each guest to bring along a holiday dish that represents their family’s culture. We’ll provide the hot chocolate bar, gingerbread decorating, music, and more! This event is free and you can RSVP here.
December 17 is also the last day to order a Gift Membership and have it out for holiday delivery! A gift of membership supports our mission to be a welcoming and thriving historic site AND the recipient gets free admission to the Enterprising Women lecture and event series, a discount in our Museum Store, and invitations to some unbelievable member-exclusive events in 2020. Get in touch with Madeline at 978-744-0991 or email today!
Members also can enjoy free tours of The House of the Seven Gables and unlimited visits to our historic site. In 2020, our staff is preparing to launch a refreshed tour experience. Stay tuned for details of our senior interpretive staff hard-at-work over the coming weeks as they get ready to welcome you with an even more engaging museum experience.
We couldn’t do the work we do without support. Visitors are an important part of our budgeting process (and we thank you all for coming in 2019!). The House of the Seven Gables relies on generous donations to our Annual Fund to keep our history relevant, our ESL classes full and robust, and to preserve our National Historic Landmark District. We have a challenge to raise $20,000 in the coming weeks and hope you can help us! As we get ready to welcome you in 2020, every little bit counts!
