What’s Happening This Week?

October 6, 2019 Published By Julie Arrison-Bishop

It’s taking a turn here in Salem…bust out your sweaters and a PSL and come for the Haunted Happenings celebration! There are so many fun events going this week in town and here at The Gables. You don’t want to miss out!

Our second Wicked Wednesday is scheduled for October 9. This is a great evening for the exploration of all of the magic of October in Salem. At The Gables, we’ll be offering special family pricing after 4:00 p.m. AND a navigation scavenger hunt for the young (or young at heart!) mariner.

The 24th Annual Haunted Happenings Grand Parade is scheduled for Thursday. This event is organized by the Salem Chamber of Commerce and features all things Halloween. Congratulations to the Boston Renegades who were selected as this year’s grand marshall!

The legendary October Performances kick off on Friday evening. As the sun goes down, the drama rises up on our National Historic Landmark District. Click here for all of the details and pricing. Be sure to book tickets in advance to get the perfect tour for you!

We also wanted to thank all of our program attendees from last week’s events! We hosted Bethany Dorau and her Spirit Photography lecture; Peter Krasinski and the 1926 Scarlet Letter; and a member-exclusive day in Concord.
