Just days away from the sweetest weekend of the year!

Salem’s So Sweet is just a couple of days away. This weekend-long chocolate and ice festival features a (sold out!) grand tasting on Friday night followed a weekend of icy sculptures and chocolatey treats all over this fair city!

Here are some details about what is going on at The Gables this weekend:

Ice Sculpture Viewing: Sculptures will be installed around Salem through the day on February 9 and 10. Check out Salem Main Streets for all of the details – and don’t miss our candy themed sculpture in partnership with Ye Olde Pepper Candie Companie!

Free Grounds Passes: Download our audio tour and enjoy a stroll around our snowy grounds or pop into our Museum Store for a last minute gift for your Valentine. Free on Feburary 9 and 10 (10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).

Family Valentine Crafts: Join Salem Parks, Recreation and Community Services for a Family Valentine Workshop from 1:00 – 3:00 on February 9. Free, Registration is required.

Cookie Decorating: Halloween isn’t the only time to enjoy a sweet treat in Salem. Stop by our Visitor Center on February 9 from 1:00 – 3:00 and decorate a cookie. Free.
