We are delighted to share an article from The Washington Post by James F. Lee. He and his wife visited us this spring and enjoyed their overall Salem experience–albeit chillier than their home state! Mr. Lee was an employee at The Gables in his younger years and went on to teach journalism at Bucknell University. In retirement, he is now a freelance writer that focuses on travel and history. He has a number and books and article in publications such as The Boston Globe, Philadelphia Inquirer, and Dallas Morning News.
