Week two of The House of Seven Gables’ internship consist of responsibilities to the museum’s social media accounts as well as reputation management on visitor review websites. Management of the social media networks would entail a consistent stream of posting on the Museum’s Instagram page along with posting on the Facebook page, allowing myself to interact directly with visitors of the museum. Along with maintenance of the brand’s online appearance, I will also be assisting in the research of logistics in regards to the museums newsletter and membership brochures. I will spend time reviewing and assisting with the interpretive planning the museum has in store, as well.
In addition to these responsibilities, I will be spending time working on the Museum Store’s photography project, taking pictures of stock and using Photoshop to make it suitable for the museum’s online store.
