The Salem Arts Association is hosting their sixth annual “Works in Plein Air” residency at The House of the Seven Gables. Members of the association are invited to set up on the grounds and in the award-winning gardens at the National Historic Landmark District and be inspired by the surrounding beauty.
“Plein Air inspiration is a way we can interact with all the elements. As artists we can work with light and air.”
The artists will also take inspiration from their interaction with YOU, our visitors from around the country and the world. Be sure to chit-chat with the local talent and learn about these unique projects.
At the end of the residency, enjoy a one-night reception of the works created at The Bridge at 211. This exhibit will be on display during the Salem Arts Festival and through the month of June.
