Destination Salem is helping the community get into the spirit of celebration around the 350th anniversary of The House of the Seven Gables in 2018. The cover of this year’s City Guide and Map features unique artwork by local artist and designer Elissa Von Letkemann. She is best known for her Windows of Salem series.

If you’re planning a trip to Salem, the City Guide will help you figure our what’s best for your interests, where to stay, and what to eat. Once you get here, you’ll find that the map is easy to read so that you can navigate our streets and learn about everything from the Great Age of Sail to the Salem Witch Trials to the architectural history that spans four centuries.

We also invite YOU to be a part of our 350th anniversary celebration all year long. We have some great events planned including family-friendly April Vacation programs, chances to take a tour with Nathaniel Hawthorne, and a Four Centuries of Music Festival by-the-sea on August 2. Check out our events calendar and plan your experience today.
