Give

Caroline Emmerton founded The House of the Seven Gables Settlement Association in 1910, using proceeds from tours of the famous mansion to fund her community education work. But times have changed. Ticket sales alone can no longer provide the funds needed to meet the growing demand for our Citizenship and English as a Second Language classes, preserve our historic buildings, and offer the educational and engaging experiences our visitors have come to expect. We need your continued help in our ongoing effort to preserve, share, and continue the American story.

The House of the Seven Gables Settlement Association needs your help to support the organization’s efforts to tell the diverse stories of those who lived and worked in our historic houses and continue to offer necessary educational opportunities to the immigrant community. In addition, contributions allow The Gables to care our National Historic Landmark District with seven important yet aging structures. Support The Gables by donating online, attending our annual fundraiser, purchasing a brick, becoming a member, or upgrading your current membership.

No gift is too small, and we invite you to take part and make a tax-deductible donation to ensure the future of The Gables, and its many stories, for generations to come.

PLANNED GIVING

When you leave a charitable gift in your will, trust, or by beneficiary designation, you become a sustaining part of our mission. There are many ways a planned gift can ensure that The Gables has the resources to preserve and share the American story into the future.

The Gables encourages you to consult your financial and legal professionals to ensure the giving vehicle matches your personal estate plans and philanthropic intent. Please note that The Gables does not prepare wills or trust agreements for donors.
