SUMMARY:Member Event: The Mansion's New Interiors Lecture
DESCRIPTION:The House of the Seven Gables’ parlor\, dining room\, and bed chamber are going through an extensive makeover! The wallpaper\, curtains\, rugs\, and furnishings will be changed to better reflect the time period that is spoken about in the guided tour. During the past couple months\, the project began with Phase 1\, which includes the installation of new wallpaper\, refurbishing the woodwork\, and paint. For this lecture\, Curator of Collections\, Susan Baker\, will present the reason for the project\, the determination of the new colors and styles\, and the process of changing the rooms. \n  \nFree to all Gables Members and their guests. The event will begin in the Visitor Center for the lecture and then we will go to the mansion to see the in-progress rooms. \nEmail development@7gables.org for tickets. \n  \nNot a member?
