DESCRIPTION:The House of the Seven Gables and Cape Ann Community Cinema present a special screening of the National Theatre (UK) production of Frankenstein.\n  \nWith Benedict Cumberbatch as The Creature | By Nick Dear | Based on the novel by Mary Shelley \n  \nChildlike in his innocence but grotesque in form\, Frankenstein’s bewildered creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Meeting with cruelty wherever he goes\, the increasingly desperate and vengeful Creature determines to track down his creator and strike a terrifying deal. \n  \nDirected by Academy Award-winner Danny Boyle\, featuring Benedict Cumberbatch as the creature and Jonny Lee Miller as Victor Frankenstein. Performed 22 February—2 May 2011 in the Olivier Theatre. This production includes a scene of sexual violence\, moderate injury detail\, and a moderate sex reference.
