SUMMARY:Salem's So Sweet: Valentine's Sweets\, Crafts\, and Fun at The House of the Seven Gables
DESCRIPTION:A wonderful\, fun family event co-sponsored by The House of the Seven Gables and the City of Salem’s Park and Recreation Department. All children must be accompanied by an adult. \n  \nDate: Sunday\, February 8\, 2026\nTime: 1:00-3:00 pm\nPlace: The House of the Seven Gables\, 115 Derby St. \n  \nOur Valentine event will include: \n\nAn outdoor scavenger hunt featuring chocolate facts and historical facts about the House of the Seven Gables. As this will be outdoors\, please dress accordingly.\nFree ground passes to the historic site.\nHot chocolate and cookies will be served.\nA Valentine’s workshop in the Visitor Center. Come make a valentine card for someone special. Please note that the workshop will be held from 1:00-2:30pm.\n“400 Things That We Love About Salem.” In celebration of Salem’s 400+\, we will have pre-cut hearts available and ask participants to write something that they love about Salem on the heart. We are hoping to get 400 hearts filled up that will help us create a display celebrating Salem’s quadricentennial.\n\n  \n> Click for more details and registration <\n  \n*PLEASE NOTE: This event takes place during The House of the Seven Gables’ annual shutdown.
