SUMMARY:Community Conversations: New Immigrants and Refugee Visions
DESCRIPTION:Join us for three unique films made by immigrants\, about immigrants in partnership with Community Supported Films.\nNew Immigrant and Refugee Visions is a collection of documentary films by and about new immigrants and refugees. The stories produced provide a unique insider perspective on the integration challenges faced by immigrants and the contributions they make to our culture\, economy\,  and social fabric. Our three selected films from the series are: \n\nShe’s an American Child\nRhythms of Respect\nSeeking Settled Groud\n\nEach film is ten minutes long and there will be a community discussion after the screenings. Participants will be given a set of questions to spark discussion on the night of the event. \nThis is an online event. Registration and participant questions will be sent via a confirmation email. \nRegistration is free.
