DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand!\nAndover clock expert\, Bob Frishman\, is back by popular demand! During the past several years\, Bob has been collecting fine art images which have a clock somewhere in the picture. From Van Gogh to Dali\, Titian\, Homer\, Magritte\, Hopper\, and Rockwell\, these artworks are often familiar to art lovers but have not often been joined together in this way. Digital images will be projected and described in an educational and entertaining combination of art and clock histories. Since we are at The House of the Seven Gables\, Bob will discuss the artist\, the scene\, and the timepiece within the lovely eye-candy iconic artworks from the 18th and 19th century America. \nDirectly after the presentation\, Bob will offer verbal descriptions and “Roadshow” valuations for old clocks and watches brought in by the audience (no battery-powered or plug-ins\, please).
