SUMMARY:Summer Solstice at The Gables: Yoga and Midsummer Magic
DESCRIPTION:**This event is sold out and walk-ins cannot be accepted.**\nSummer solstice represents fruition\, fulfillment\, and consciousness. With the sun at its zenith\, we will align our personal zeniths of power\, manifestation\, and self-awareness with the elements\, while dancing between the earth and sky. Rebel Yell Yoga will lead you through 60 minutes of vinyasa flow to open powerful personal pathways of awareness and to harness the intense fiery energy of the solstice. While focusing on the connection to the elements\, Dark Moon Salem\, and The Chaos Factor will further connect and expand through Tarot\, and the 22 life lessons represented in the Major Arcana. Class is limited to 22 attendees\, and upon arrival you will draw a Major Arcana card to bring awareness to one of the 22 life lessons contained within the Tarot deck. This card will serve as a focal point for meditation and as a sort of “personal spirit guide” throughout your practice. Each attendee also receives a special solstice gift. \nBring a mat\, water\, and any props you may need for yoga. You may also bring any offerings for the solstice altar. Please arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to class starting.Indoor space is available at the Gables in the event of rain. \nInvestment of $60. Tickets are NOT available from The Gables. Click here for tickets. Please contact Rebel Yell Yoga with questions about the event. \n***Important note: each student must sign up separately for this event due to class size restriction and the need to individually sign the waiver as part of the eventbrite purchase. Also\, we ask that all attendees be prepared to participate in the entire 90 minute event. Options to do yoga or meditation circle only are not available at this time. We will be in touch once you have purchased your spot to request information for your birth charts. Additionally\, a portion of your investment will be donated to The House of the Seven Gables\, as a charitable donation. DESCRIPTION:**Registration is now closed for this member-exclusive event.** \n“And yet\, though invariably happiest elsewhere\, there is within me a feeling for Old Salem\, which\, in lack of a better phrase\, I must be content to call affection. This one-hour walking tour\, led by Essex Heritage Area staff\, will take you to sites in Salem intimately connected to the literary genius\, including the graves of his ancestors\, the site of his birth\, and buildings associated with his life and work. \nThe tour begins at the Charter Street Cemetery and ends at The House of the Seven Gables. \nThe distance is approximately 1 mile.  Comfortable shoes are suggested. \nThis event is FREE for members of The House of the Seven Gables.
