Join us for some competitive fun with the Parker Bros. classic board game. Fun for all and prizes for select winners! \nAll proceeds from this event will support The Gables’ mission. \nSchedule of Events:\nAdult Tournament (up to 32 players)\n12:00 p.m. – Adult Registration/Check-in\n12:30 a.m. – Round 1 (32)\n2:00 p.m. – Round 2 (8)\n3:30 p.m. – Round 3 (2) \nRegister for the adult tournament here.\n12 and Under Tournament (up to 8 players): Please note  – children registering for the tournament should have basic knowledge of the rules for the game and an interest in playing for up to three hours. \n1:30 p.m. – 12 & Under Registration/Check-in\n2:00 p.m. – Round 1 (8)\n3:30 p.m. – Round 2 (2) \nRegister for the age 12 & under tournament here.\nLight refreshments will be available throughout the tournament. \nAwards Ceremony will be held at 4:45 p.m. \nEight (8) volunteer bankers/judges are needed for the tournament. DESCRIPTION:Join us for two unique films made by immigrants\, about immigrants in partnership with Community Supported Film.\nNew Immigrant and Refugee Visions is a collection of documentary films by and about new immigrants and refugees. The stories produced provide a unique insider perspective on the integration challenges faced by immigrants and the contributions they make to our culture\, economy\, and social fabric. \nOn November 10\, we will be showing: \n\nLift with Your Heart: Choreographer Jean Appolon struggled for years to find a sense of belonging in his native Haiti and in the United States. He discovered his purpose in teaching dance to heal and engage community members of all ages and backgrounds in celebrating cultural diversity.\nNavigating Hope: Learn about Mani Biswas who spent 17 years in a refugee camp and now helps other refugees navigate the challenges of integration in the United States.\n\nEach film is ten minutes long and there will be a community discussion after the screenings. Participants will be given a set of questions to spark discussion on the night of the event. This is an online event. \nRegistration is free. DESCRIPTION:Join us in welcoming and celebrating our New Americans.\nThe House of the Seven Gables Settlement Association in collaboration with USCIS will host a Naturalization Ceremony for new Americans from the region.  This date will culminate the journeys and many roads traveled by these hopeful individuals to officially be ‘named’ Americans; a moment when pride and excitement are palpable.\nOur founder’s\, Caroline Emmerton\, philanthropic nature led her to our Settlement mission of supporting and educating new Americans over 100 years ago.  We continue to support our new Americans today through different educational programs\, celebrations\, and striving to be part of a welcoming community. \nThis event will be held outdoors on our Seaside Lawn. Applicants\, their families and friends\, and members of the general public are welcome to join us. \nSeating is limited to applicants and those in need. This will be a standing event for most attendees. \nIn case of inclement weather\, the ceremony will be moved inside. In this event\, capacity will be extremely limited
