The stories produced provide a unique insider perspective on the integration challenges faced by immigrants and the contributions they make to our culture\, economy\, and social fabric. \nOn November 10\, we will be showing: \n\nLift with Your Heart: Choreographer Jean Appolon struggled for years to find a sense of belonging in his native Haiti and in the United States. He discovered his purpose in teaching dance to heal and engage community members of all ages and backgrounds in celebrating cultural diversity.\nNavigating Hope: Learn about Mani Biswas who spent 17 years in a refugee camp and now helps other refugees navigate the challenges of integration in the United States.\n\nEach film is ten minutes long and there will be a community discussion after the screenings. Participants will be given a set of questions to spark discussion on the night of the event. This is an online event. \nRegistration is free.
