Join our ESL and Citizenship students for a day in New York City learning about the American immigrant experience and celebrating the conclusion of the Becoming American community conversation series. Upon arrival in the city, board a ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. At both sites, encounter the experiences of turn-of-the-century immigrants, the effects that they had on their families, and how those shaped their newly adopted homeland.
