Description

This small chapel, known as a seamens bethel, once stood on our seaside lawn and hosted the first classes of the Settlement Association. Later it was moved up Turner Street and renamed Turner Hall. To the right of the image you can see the Turner-Ingersoll Mansion prior to Joseph Chandler’s restoration of the structure.
