Description

1914-1915 Fifth Annual Report

Nine nationalities are reported as being represented in the Settlement – Italian, Irish, Russian, French, Austrian, Swedish, Syrian, English, and the largest group, Polish. With war raging in Europe, the Settlement sponsored a program of piano music, played by Mme. Szumowska, which raised over $500 for Polish war sufferers.
