Description

This souvenir postcard from 1904, our earliest example, depicts the Turner-Ingersoll mansion as a Salem attraction six years before the Caroline Emmerton and Joseph Chandler restoration of the building. Like many souvenir postcards at that time, the back only has space for a mailing address, not for a message.
