Julian Hawthorne

Julian Hawthorne (1846-1934) was the only son of Sophia and Nathaniel Hawthorne. Julian would attempt to follow in his father’s literary footsteps , though he enjoyed far less success. He was, however, instrumental in maintaining the memory of his father by helping to publish his father’s unfinished works and letters.
