The team at The House of the Seven Gables Settlement Association (The Gables) is honored to be selected by the Baker-Polito Administration, along with the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development and the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism (MOTT), for a $30,000 grant to update and rejuvenate our website. This grant is part of the Travel and Tourism Recovery (TTR) Grant Program and was created to strengthen the Massachusetts economy through the development and enhancement of the state’s tourism industry. You can learn more about the grant by clicking here.
Along with making The Gables’ website smoother, sleeker, and easier to navigate, we will feature additional culturally oriented visitor experiences in Salem and beyond to encourage visitors to seek out new and exciting adventures beyond our doors. More information is coming soon, so stay tuned!
In addition, The North of Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau (NBCVB) selected The Gables to receive a grant award in the amount of $1,302.80. This funding will be used to supplement costs for reprinting our rack card, a key marketing piece for The Gables, and to add a QR code so potential visitors can quickly be directed to our website.
Both grants provide a terrific opportunity to reach an audience beyond 50 miles and lengthen stays in Salem and on the North Shore.
