It felt almost comical to write the title because there is certainly a lot going on this week. Between the news cycle around COVID, a lot of accidental homeschooling parents, and Tom Brady leaving the Patriots (we know this is good news to many of you out there!) is been tough to find a bit of respite.
So, that’s just what we want to offer you. Currently, our grounds will be open on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. We hope you come to see the tulips grow or take in a big breath of the fresh sea air. Bring along a sketch pad or journal. We’re also working on a fun, family art program with Salem Arts Association so stay tuned!
We’re also working to bring you some digital programming in the coming few days. Check out a classic movie, watch a lecture with an engaging speaker, or take a mini-tour through some of our unique spaces. For parents, we’ll be posting resources for a short time related to our site, Nathaniel Hawthorne, creative writing, and more. We hope this brings some lesson planning relief to many of our fans as well.
