The House of the Seven Gables is SO ready to welcome spring! Our maintenance and preservation team are starting to take their work outside. It’s time to prepare the grounds and gardens for all that spring has to offer. Be sure to follow us on Instagram if you don’t already. We’ll be showing the buds and blooms as they happen. We’d also recommend planning a visit in person. Early May is a wonderful time to catch the beauty of the bulbs and bushes blossoming!
Speaking of planning a visit, we’d also encourage you to check out our interactive map before coming. This is a great way to get to know our site and what to expect. The beauty of this map is that it’s offered in nine total languages – both online and in print.
Our final Welcome Home Day is on Sunday, March 31. Residents of the Tri-Town area – Topsfield, Georgetown, and Boxford. Just bring in proof of residency and enjoy a tour on us. If the weather is good, it will be a great day to spend in Salem exploring the many historical, literary, and culinary treasures.
Be sure to stay tuned for all of the happenings in April at The Gables. From our Becoming American documentary series, to the opening of POP! Goes The Gables, to the first of our Seven Lectures at Seven Gables series, we’re ready to go!
