WEDDING ACTIVITIES
The Seaside Lawn is a beautiful site for a wedding, wedding reception or both. It combines wonderful, colonial revival gardens, gorgeous grounds, three 17th century houses, the 18th century house where Nathaniel Hawthorne was born and the Salem waterfront for the perfect outdoor event.

The Seaside Lawn can accommodate 200 guests seated for dinner with a dance floor.

The Lawn is also a great site for a rehearsal dinner.

Base rental fee for the Seaside Lawn - Weekend: $3,500 / Weekday: $3,000

CORPORATE EVENTS
The Seaside Lawn is memorable location for a special dinner or cocktail reception. The combination of colorful gardens and grounds, period homes and ocean front is a beautiful setting for special clients and guests. It is great for an employee picnic or clambake.

The Lawn can accommodate 200 guests seated for dinner or 350 guests for a reception. It is available days and evenings on a seasonal basis.

The Plumsock Room is a modern, indoor room suitable for 100 seated guests or 200 at a reception. It may also serve as a meeting or conference space. This site is available year round, days and evenings. Base rental fee for the Plumsock Room: $1,250

The Hooper-Hathaway House, a charming, rustic colonial home built in 1682, is best suited for small receptions, a light buffet or passed hors d'oeuvres. It will accommodate 25-30 guests. It is very near the seaside lawn so it is nice for a small event, yet offers guests the opportunity to stroll the gardens and view Salem Harbor. Base rental fee for The Hooper-Hathaway House: $1,250

FAMILY CELEBRATIONS
The Seaside Lawn, Plumsock Room and Hooper-Hathaway House are available daytime or evening for family celebrations. From 10-15 guests in a rustic setting for a bridal shower to an anniversary or family reunion lobster bake for 200, there is a setting at The House of the Seven Gables for all types of family events.
