William LeGault, Councilor-at-Large for the City of Salem, will dive deeply into the question, Why Can’t These Immigrants Be More Like Us? Drawing on his own family experience as he grew up in the Point neighborhood, LeGault will discuss the attitudes of previous generations of immigrants towards the more recent immigrants who have come to Salem.
