Step back in time with a tour of The House of the Seven Gables as it was written by founder Caroline Emmerton before 1920. Hear the interesting interpretation of the museum as it was shared with the earliest visitors to the famed historic house museum and learn about how research over the years has helped The Gables to share a more accurate story. In 2016, The House of the Seven Gables is commemorating the 150th birthday of Miss Emmerton with a variety of programming that celebrates her life, legacy, and vision. We invite you to learn about this unique vision and mission of preservation and social service.
