Date: September 25, 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Join David Moffat, lead interpreter at The House of the Seven Gables, for his special lecture Caroline Emmerton: A Woman of Letters. Mr. Moffat is the author of Caroline Emmerton: An Unbounded Vision, a short biographical work that was the companion for our 2016 exhibit commemorating the 150th birthday of the founder of The House of the Seven Gables Settlement Association. Throughout 2016, The Gables has been celebrating the vision of Miss Emmerton with special programs, parties, lectures, and more. We are delighted to be able to offer Mr. Moffat’s look into rare archival material related to one of Salem’s most influential women of the twentieth century.
This program is free. The lecture will take place in the Hooper Hathaway House with limited seating. Advance registration is strongly suggested. The maximum attendance for this program is 30.
